The Ides Of March featuring Jim Peterik bring their gala Christmas Show to the venerable Arcada Theatre once again on Saturday December 14th. Celebrating their 55th year together with ALL the original members, The Ides Christmas show has become one of the entertainment highlights of all Chicagoland. Special guest this year is Toby Hitchcock, the Lead Singer of Jim Peterik’s Classic Rock powerhouse Pride Of Lions. Hosting the event will be Mike Toomey, from the WGN Morning News.

You’ll hear Christmas Classics, and the Ides’ own Christmas songs, a good dash of humor, and plenty of fun. Each member of the band will get a chance to shine in their own distinctive way. The show will also feature the Ides rockin’ hits, along with the Jim Peterik Platinum chart-toppers he co wrote for .38 Special, Sammy Hagar and Survivor. Songs from The Ides’ new Album “Play On” will put the star on the top of the tree.

As always, you’ll be able to stop at the Merch table to do your Christmas Shopping, and the Ides will be there to autograph it all.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Glad Tidings, and Rock N’ Roll forever!

Upholding another Ides tradition, we are again honored to help Msgr. Dan Celebrate Christmas Eve Mass at HOLY NAME CATHEDRAL downtown Chicago – 6pm Dec 24th. If you haven’t been with us on Christmas Eve, you’ve missed a truly special and joyous event. ALL are welcome!

The Ides returned to the wonderful ACORN THEATRE in Three Oaks Michigan for a sellout show. Owners David and Kim once again rolled out the Red Carpet for us, with a fine pre-show home-made dinner. Being a “sit-down” concert, we split the night starting off with an “unplugged” set, then a short intermission, followed by the “plugged” Rockin’ set. Scott even got to play the massive Barton Theatre Pipe Organ that Kim has lovingly restored. A special treat was re-meeting the Gent who last year slipped Jim the cassettes that became our “Lost Tapes Vol 1” CD.  The ACORN is a VERY hip place that has a wide variety of entertainment, and is only a hop, skip and a jump from Downtown Chicago. We hope David and Kim will have us back again!
